Art Literacy and Appreciation Workshop|Art is Forever
If videotapes are not stored properly, they will break easily or become moldy under Hong Kong's warm and humid environment.
In this workshop, participants will learn about the inner structure of videotape, and get a hands-on experience in film splicing, so as to understand how to repair videotape.

About Michael
Graduated from RMIT, Michael joined VCRBase as a specialist in videotape collection and restoration. He is responsible for repairing, and the digitization of various old VCRs and other media. He also takes care of the maintenance of equipment to ensure that the archival work of VCRBase can run smoothly.
Established in 2007, VCRBase was a YouTube channel before expanding to Facebook. The team consists of 7 members currently. VCRBase is committed to collecting and digitizing local videotapes, in order to preserve and pass on the precious footages of Hong Kong movies, TV shows and advertisements etc. in the past.
